Proud to offer Profilometry for specialist contact lens fitting

We have recently added the Eaglet Eye Surface Profilometer (ESP) to our ophthalmic armoury, and we’re one of only a handful of UK practices to adopt this technology. It allows computer modelling of the majority of the front surface of the eyes, not just the Cornea. This allows for fully bespoke contact lenses to be produced including large diameter Scleral and Semi-Scleral lenses, for those with distorted Cornea’s, such as those with Keratoconus or post-surgical distortion.
