Newly Qualified Optometrist – Beth Short

We are proud to announce that Beth Short has recently completed her finals to become a fully qualified Optometrist, and she joins us a full time member of the team!

Many of you will have been following Beth’s progress with interest, and may even have already been examined by her. She started with us as a school work experience girl, she then became our Saturday helper whilst doing her GCSE/A-level studies at Ferndown Upper School. She was then accepted into an Optometry University course, whilst still working here in her holidays. For the past year our senior Optometrist, Rob Jones has guided her through her ‘Pre-Registration’ year, where she worked under his supervision, before undertaking her final professional examinations. Now a fully fledged member of the professional team here at Parley, we are all very proud of her achievements.
