intuitive colorimetry and coloured overlays

Meares-Irlen Syndrome and Dyslexia can sometimes cause visual strain and pattern glare.  The symptoms can sometimes be improved by the use of coloured plastic overlays, placed over normal text to reduce reading fatigue and glare from the high contrast black on white print.  If the overlays are successful, then bespoke coloured lenses can be prescribed that have the same effect.

Here at Parley Optometrists we utilise both the Cerium Intuitive Colorimeter and the ReadEZ systems of investigation. We are also able to measure positions of gaze with our eye tracking system to ensure any intervention is having a positive effect.
